Commissioner respects Ireland’s need to consult on 15% corporate tax rate

The EU’s Economy Commissioner says he respects Ireland’s need to engage in a consultation process before signing up to a minimum global corporate tax rate of fifteen percent (15%).

Over one hundred and thirty countries have now agreed to the tax deal but Ireland has been holding out on signing up to it. However in an interview with EU News Radio Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni said he’s confident all EU countries will be included in the global tax deal process.
