EU Commissioner Mairead McGuinness on Frost resignation & Brexit negotiations

In the following interview, EU News Radio editor Karen Coleman talks to Ireland’s EU Commissioner Mairead McGuinness, about the resignation of Lord David Frost as the UK’s Chief Brexit negotiator.

The British foreign secretary Liz Truss will now lead the UK’s negotiations with the EU on issues related to the Northern Ireland Protocol. Her appointment follows last week’s announcement by the European Commission of proposals to ensure people in Northern Ireland have access to the same medicines at the same time as in the rest of the UK.
