Farm workers should see ‘real benefits’ from the New Common Agricultural Policy. That’s according to the EU Commissioner for Agriculture.

Janusz Wojciechowski was speaking in a webinar today to the Dublin-based Institute of International and European affairs.

A provisional political agreement was reached on the reformed CAP in June. It promises to be fairer, greener and more animal friendly and flexible.  

And according to the Commissioner, it should improve the rights of people working on farms.
