EU fines Temu €200m for DSA breaches

The EU today announced it is fining the online platform Temu two hundred million euro (€200m) for breaching the EU Digital Services Act. The European Commission says Temu is not properly assessing the risks of illegal products being sold on its market place. These include dangerous toys for kids, small electronics without proper labels, and clothes and jewellery containing harmful chemicals.
